Epigent is indicated in adults and children.

Patients who may present with bacteremia associated or suspected to be associated with one of the infections mentioned above.
In particular in risky situations (septic shock not microbiologically documented, late nosocomial injections, foreign body infections), In particular in subjects at risk (immunocompromised patients, newborns).
Preventive treatment, prophylaxis of post-operative infections and prophylaxis during radiological procedures and interventional medicine, according to the recommendations for the proper use of antibiotics. Gentamicin is generally used as a curative treatment in combination with other antibiotics, in particular with beta-lactams.
