Dr. Ahmed Kelani - Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of EIPICO Pharmaceuticals Company - Chairman of the Egyptian side of the Egyptian-Kazakh Business Council, participated in the 2nd International Congress & Exhibition PHARMA QAZAQSTAN & CENTREAL ASIA , 9-10 April 2024 Almaty, Kazakhstan,
His participation came in response to an invitation from the conference organizers for him as an honorary guest and keynote speaker, in recognition of his prestigious position locally, regionally and internationally in the pharmaceutical industry.
He conducted a presentation of the vision of ACDIMA and EIPICO towards Global Manufacturing Expansion through the establishment of pharmaceutical factories in a number of vital regions in the world, including Kazakhstan.
He gave a detailed presentation of the idea of establishing a pharmaceutical factory in Kazakhstan in cooperation between ACDIMA , EPICO and the Kazakh side. The factory contributes to ensuring the availability of medicines in Kazakhstan and a potential hub for CDIMA , EIPICO medicines to penetrate the markets of Central Asian and Eastern European countries with a population more than 150 million inhabitant ,
This reflects, in a practical way, a fundamental development in the concept of traditional export - exporting finished medicines. To foreign markets - which is expected to diminish and disappear within a few years, as a result of the keenness of all countries to localize their pharmaceutical industry through cooperation in the field of joint manufacturing of medicines on their territories, relying on reliable partners who have high capabilities and great experience ,

Also , Dr. Kelni discussed in details the capabilities and experiences of ACDIMA and its companies, as well as EIPICO, its capabilities, philosophy, and the importance of establishing EIPICO 3 factory for the production of Biosimilars and Biosimilars, and what has been implemented to date,
As well as the idea and goals of establishing the first multi-purpose factory in Egypt and the Middle East, for the production of pharmaceutical raw materials Arab Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients API.
On the sidelines of the conference, many intensive working meetings were held with a number of companies in a some of Kazakhstan cities (Almaty - Astana - Karganda) focusing on ways of collaboration with ACDIMA – EIPICO towards Global Manufacturing Expansion.
