Dr. Ahmed Kelani: EIPICO exports $4.7 Million to Tanzania before the end of February 2022

Dr. Ahmed Kelani, Chairman and Managing Director of EIPICO Pharmaceutical Company, the largest Acdima Company, received Mr. Anselm S. Bahati, Ambassador of Tanzania to Cairo, accompanied by a high-level delegation from the Tanzanian Embassy in Cairo.
Ambassador Anselm Bahati was keen to extend congratulations to Dr. Ahmed Kelani and EIPICO for starting the implementation exporting medicines to Tanzania with a value at 4.7 million dollars.
EIPICO had recently contracted to supply 78 of its products with the Tanzanian government, represented by Medical Stores Department (msd), the one and only official body to sign such contracts in Tanzania and responsible for providing medicines in all medical services. The signing of the agreement was preceded by a high-level visit, from the Consolidated Purchase Authority in Tanzania (msd) to the company’s factories to stand on the large and modern capabilities of producing and ensuring the quality of the drug according to the highest international standards.
Dr. Kelani added that, supply orders and bank credits have already been issued and shipments timetable agreed.
The fully supply is scheduled to be accomplished before the end of February 2022.
Dr. Kelani confirmed, EIPICO's readiness to supply any medicines needed for the health authorities in Tanzania and also in cooperation with ACDIMA group of companies.
Dr. Ahmed Kelani concluded, this agreement comes within the framework of EIPICO's directives towards expanding exports to Africa, in implementation of the political leadership’s vision in this regard.
