Mr. Mohamed Saafan - Manpower Minister receives Dr. Ahmed Kelani, Chairman and Managing Director of EIPICO Pharmaceuticals Company to discuss the ways of mutual Cooperation, Social and Healthcare for EIPICO employees.

 Manpower Minister said that: We care and follow up the rights and duties of the two parties of the production process. We welcome cooperation with EIPICO Pharmaceutical Company-honoring the President of the company for caring for the rights of employees. Honoring the employees and workers for the hardships of work in the current conditions to provide medicines to citizens.

 Mr. Mohamed Saafan, Minister of Manpower, today received Dr. Ahmed Kelani, Chairman and Managing Director of EIPICO Pharmaceuticals Company.

 The minister welcomed the cooperation with the company, stressing the keenness of the ministry to care for and follow up the rights and duties of both parties of the production process- workers and business owners- especially in the current exceptional circumstances to face the spread of the new coronavirus

 The company's request to provide technical support from the ministry on the aspects of social and health care for employees was also discussed.

 The Minister explained the ministry's readiness to hold several refresher Seminars to educate employees of the company to familiarize them with their rights and duties and to sensitize them to the provisions of the labor law and related laws, which contributes to the stability of the productive process inside the company.

 Dr. Ahmed Kelani EIPICO Chairman announced that, the company employs 5,200 workers, 40% of them are female workers, stressing that the company is doing training and vocational grading for some students and giving them material and in-kind benefits. He thanked the Minister for holding this meeting, appreciating the efforts of the ministry in stabilizing the production climate by sponsoring the rights and duties of The two parties of production process.

 Dr. Kelani also invited the Minister to attend the laying of the foundation stone of the establishment of EIPICO 3 Biopharmaceutical Plant, which is being held by the company in Tenth of Ramadan City

 At the end of the meeting, the Minister presented the ministry shield to Dr. Ahmed Kelani honoring him for his sincere efforts to care for the rights of workers, support the process of construction, and development the active role of workers in raising the shares of the Egyptian economy, and to endure the hardships of work in the current conditions

 The meeting was attended by Mr. Ahmed Jadu, the minister's financial adviser, Mr. Ihab Abdel Ati, the minister's legal adviser, Mr. Reda Al-Arabi, Technical Assistant in the minister's office, and Dr. Mohammed Shawki, EIPICO Company Manager of Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
