CONTA - FLU

Composition
Each tablet contains:
Phenylpropanolamine hydrochloride                  24 mg
Chlorpheniramine maleate                                 3 mg
Propyphenazone                                          200 mg

Properties and Mode of Action
CONTA-FLU is a combination of effective components ensuring a prompt relief of upper respiratory tract congestion. Phenylpropanolamine is a sympathomimetic agent similar to ephedrine on the central nervous system. Chlorpheniramine maleate is one of the most potent antihistamines which is well-tolerated and suitable for daytime use as it is not so prone to producing drowsiness. Propyphenazone is a potent analgesic antipyretic.

Indications
CONTA-FLU provides symptomatic relief of upper respiratory tract congestion accompanying common cold, allergic rhinitis, rhinosinusitis and Eustachian tube congestion.

Dosage and Administration
1 tablet 3 times daily or as directed by the physician.

Precautions
CONTA-FLU should be cautiously used in hypertension, cardiovascular disorders, hyperthyroidism, glaucoma and prostatic enlargement.
CONTA-FLU is better avoided with mono-amine oxidase inhibitors or other medications containing sympathomimetic drugs.
