Egyptian International Pharmaceutical Industries company (EIPICO ) said that: it is acquiring 29% of the export volume of the Egyptian pharmaceutical sector during the first quarter of current year.
Dr. Ahmed Kelani- EIPICO company - chairman of the board and Managing Director, revealed that his company is targeting to get in the Latin American markets, especially Ecuador and Chile in the coming period, explaining that it is planned to open the markets of 15 countries during the next three years. In addition to work to increase the company's exports to the Commonwealth countries C.I.S. to 30% during the current year.
Dr. Kelani stressed on his company's interest in the export process, which provides many advantages to Egypt and the company by relieving pressure on foreign currencies within the market, in addition to the publication of "Made in Egypt" in many countries of the world / pointing to EIPICO company export to about 65 countries.
EIPICO aims for the next period to go toward the top of pharmaceutical manufacturing in Egypt, by using the advantage of the great potential that the company has. in addition to benefiting from Signs of improvement in the country's economic situation - in light of the political stability witnessed in Egypt during the current period.
EIPICO succeeded to increase its production volume during the first quarter of this year to one billion L.E. for the first time in its history, achieving growth rates in production volume of 42%, and successfully utilized the available capacity of its production lines by 17.7% , in addition to increasing the production volumes for more than 97 million packages – representing increase of 33.9%. Which reflected its sales volume during that period to more than 895 million L.E.
